Indian wins Dhs10m in Big Ticket’s raffle draw, plans to help needy

During the Series 264 Big Ticket draw, Raisur Rahman was named the lucky winner who took home the Dhs 10 million grand prize. The Indian national, who has lived in Dubai since 2005 with his wife and son, purchased his winning ticket online after 18 months of participating in the Big Ticket raffle.
As the CEO of SI Global Group, Rahman was always on the lookout for investment opportunities. He decided to start buying raffle tickets after a friend informed him about Big Ticket and has been buying tickets on-and-off ever since.
Despite living in Dubai, Rahman would often go to Abu Dhabi when doing business. He described how he would park his car in Terminal A of the airport and buy a ticket.
“I prefer the in-person experience more than purchasing from the website,” he said.
Rahman was stunned when the news of his win came out, describing the feeling in one word – great. His motto is that if it is destiny, it will come to him. Busy with work and responsibilities, he hasn’t had the time to think about what to do with the winnings yet but insists it will be “something good” for him and his folks.
He also promises to use a portion of the winnings to help the needy. When asked about advice he would give other participants, he said “God loves those who loves others. Don’t go for shortcuts. Do your hard work. Be fair, be honest, be good, be respectful. If you have money, invest and lady luck will always shine.”
Congratulations once again to our Big Ticket Dhs 10 million grand prize winner.
Customers who purchase their Big Tickets throughout the month of July will stand a chance to be named the grand prize winner and walk away with Dhs 15 million during the live draw on 3rd August. A second prize of Dhs 1 million will also be announced, and ten winners will take home Dhs 100,000 each. On the same day, one lucky customer will walk away with a BMW 430i, worth Dhs 269K. The upcoming live draw will be livestreamed on Big Ticket’s Facebook page, Instagram page, and YouTube channel at 2:30 pm GST.
Customers are encouraged to exercise caution when making their purchase through third-party pages and groups to ensure the authenticity of their tickets. For all the latest news and updates on upcoming draws, everyone is encouraged to follow Big Ticket’s social media platforms.
