JAKARTA: Indonesia set its benchmark coal price for 5,300 kcal grade at $67.20 per metric ton for the second half of August, with the 4,100 kcal grade benchmark at $43.70, an Energy Ministry regulation showed on Sunday.

Coal India liberalises long-term supply deals to allow power sale on exchanges

Indonesia sets coal benchmark prices twice a month and uses them to calculate the floor price for transactions.
