The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has unveiled plans to introduce an electric tram service in Islamabad to modernize the city’s public transport and reduce its carbon footprint.
Chairman Mohammad Ali Randhawa confirmed that a feasibility study has been approved following directives from the Prime Minister and Interior Minister.
The project, supported by the National Radio Telecommunication Corporation (NRTC), will complement the existing electric bus system.
