Ca’ Foscari University of Venice has announced a merit-based scholarship programme for international students, including applicants from Pakistan, for the 2026/2027 academic year. The initiative is designed to attract high-achieving students to both bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes at the prestigious Italian institution. Each scholarship is valued at €10,000 per year, which is approximately PKR 3.6 million, and is renewable for the full duration of the degree.
For bachelor’s programmes, the university will award 8 “Honors Scholarships,” each renewable for up to three years. Master’s students can compete for 20 similar scholarships, renewable for up to two years. Eligible programmes are offered in both Italian and English, making them accessible to a wide range of international students. The scholarships cover tuition fees and provide financial support to help students focus on their studies without economic constraints.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Minimum academic score equivalent to 85% CGPA.
- Submission of a motivational video following university guidelines.
- Reference letters: 1 for bachelor’s applicants, up to 2 for master’s applicants.
- Valid language proficiency certificate in the programme’s language of instruction.
Applications must be submitted by 1:00 p.m. CEST on 31 March 2026 for students admitted in the university’s first and second admission rounds. Candidates are required to register for their chosen programme via the university’s online portal and upload all required documents, including a clear copy of a valid passport or EU ID. Only complete and timely applications will be considered.
The scholarship programme is expected to open doors for talented students, particularly from developing countries such as Pakistan, providing access to quality European education, international research opportunities, and a vibrant multicultural academic environment.
