The event began on Thursday night, with numerous celebrities sppearing on the red carpet. But it was Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan who reportedly stole the spotlight with her fashion choices.

Kareena wore a purple dress adorned with purple floral embellishments. Her outfit garnered attention among Indian social media users, receiving widespread appreciation from fans and followers alike.

The opening ceremony also featured Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, who was in attendance to celebrate the event.

Speaking to the media at the festival, Kareena shared her excitement, saying, “I was here last year, and it was absolutely amazing. But this year, it feels even bigger, and the festival features some incredible films from all over the world. I’m really excited.”

When asked about exploring new roles and changes in cinema, Kareena expressed her thoughts: “I think it’s a wonderful time for women in cinema. I’m enjoying experimenting with different roles, and there’s a lot more coming up.”

During the ceremony, Aamir Khan and British actress Emily Blunt were presented with the Red Sea Award.
