Lahore-Islamabad Motorway & GT Road Completely Blocked Due to Protest
Share on FacebookShare on TwitterWhatsapp

The Lahore-Islamabad Motorway and GT Road are fully blocked because of protests, causing major traffic delays. Both roads are closed in both directions between Lahore and Islamabad. Containers have been placed across the roads to prevent any vehicles from passing.

Travelers heading between these two cities are facing a tough situation as the protests have resulted in long traffic jams and many people are getting stuck for hours. The protests have also affected several other important routes, further adding to the traffic problems.

As the situation worsens, authorities are urging the public to avoid using these blocked routes. Travelers are advised to look for alternative paths to reach their destinations. Those who need to travel urgently should check for updates on road conditions to stay informed about the situation. It is important to plan ahead and expect longer travel times due to the ongoing disruptions.

Motorway police and other local authorities are doing their best to manage the situation and guide traffic, but the protests are making it difficult for vehicles to move quickly. In the meantime, it’s best for everyone to stay patient and flexible with their travel plans. The public is also being reminded to stay safe and follow all instructions from law enforcement officers.

Travelers should consider using other routes or waiting for the situation to improve before traveling. It’s best to avoid the Lahore-Islamabad Motorway and GT Road until the protests are cleared.
