On 7th of July, LuckyOne Mall conducted its first ever scrabble competition in collaboration with Pakistan Scrabble Association (PSA) and expertly managed by VLEAD. The event drew a remarkable 234 participants, each eager to showcase their Scrabble prowess.
From 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., players of all ages and skill levels engaged in a spirited contest, divided into three categories: Open, Qualifier, and Master. The Open category invited everyone, from beginners to seasoned players, fostering a sense of community and inclusiveness. It was a heartwarming sight to see young children competing alongside adults, all united by their love for the game.
The Qualifier category was a highlight for many, as it aimed to select the top players who would represent Pakistan in the 2024 World Scrabble Championship in Sri Lanka.
