The Pakistan Navy has carried out a successful test of a ship-launched, locally developed anti-ship ballistic missile, marking an important step forward in the country’s defense technology.

The test showed that Pakistan is strengthening its ability to respond to modern security challenges at sea and on land.

This new missile is equipped with an advanced guidance system that helps it accurately hit targets even in difficult conditions.

It is designed to counter various types of threats and can overcome obstacles such as electronic interference or defensive measures. Because of these features, the missile adds a powerful new layer to Pakistan’s defense system.

The Chief of Naval Staff observed the launch along with senior scientists, engineers, and technical experts who worked on the project.

Their presence highlighted the importance of the achievement and the teamwork behind this milestone. The Navy stated that the test proved the reliability and effectiveness of the missile in operational settings.

Pakistan’s top leadership, including the President and Prime Minister, praised the Navy and the scientists for their efforts.

They described the test as a symbol of the country’s growing confidence and capability in developing modern defense systems. This success also reflects Pakistan’s focus on strengthening its maritime security and maintaining stability in the region.

The test further demonstrates the country’s progress in indigenous technology, reducing reliance on foreign systems. With each successful development, Pakistan shows its commitment to protecting national interests through innovation and self-reliance.

The achievement is expected to inspire continued research and development in the defense sector, ensuring that Pakistan remains prepared to face future challenges.
