Gulf Today Report
A war among tattoo artists became violent in Turkey.
A man named Muammer Güngör shot at Emrah Doğan’s shop, leaving Doğan and his colleague Abdullah Dilgil critically injured in İçmeler, Marmaris.
The altercation, which started out over a war of words involving clientele, ended with Güngör surrendering to the government and being detained.
According to media reports, the disagreement commenced while Güngör accused Doğan of “stealing” a client.
The scenario escalated quickly. Güngör stormed into the store and fired indiscriminately, hitting Doğan in the stomach and Dilgil in the leg.
Local citizens without delay alerted emergency services, prompting a fast reaction from police and forensic teams.
The injured people had been transported to Marmaris State Hospital.
Doğan was moved to extensive care because of the severity of his injuries, his circumstance stays critical.
Authorities said that Güngör, who fled after the attack, surrendered at the police station an hour later.
Local residents said that there is more to the disagreement among the 2 tattoo artists.
Two months ago, the two artists had a dispute, which prompted them to install CCTV cameras.
The Marmaris Public Prosecutor’s Office has taken up the case and is analyzing the incident.
