Monsoon Rains & Floods Claims 104 Lives Across Pakistan, NDMA

Since June 26, heavy monsoon rains have caused serious problems across many parts of Pakistan. According to the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), these rains have led to the deaths of more than 100 people and left around 200 others injured. The situation has become quite dangerous, and the damage continues to grow as the rains go on.

The strong and continuous rainfall has badly affected the country’s infrastructure. Roads have been washed away, with over 10 kilometers of roads damaged so far. In addition to this, nine bridges have been destroyed, making it difficult for people to travel or receive help in some areas. The heavy rains have also affected people’s homes. More than 400 houses have been either partially damaged or completely destroyed, leaving many families in need of shelter and assistance.

The NDMA has advised everyone to take precautions and stay safe as the rainy weather is expected to continue. They are also working hard with local authorities and rescue teams to provide support and relief to the affected communities. Food, medical help, and emergency supplies are being delivered to those in need.

This ongoing monsoon season has once again shown how powerful nature can be and how important it is to stay prepared during such times. Many parts of the country are still facing challenges, but efforts are being made to protect lives and rebuild what has been lost.
