The Punjab Masstransit Authority has shared new information about the upcoming Murree Glass Train, an eco-friendly electric monorail that will make travel between Islamabad and Murree much faster. Once completed, the train will take only around 40 minutes to reach Murree, offering a quicker, safer, and more comfortable option compared to road travel.

The planned route will begin at Lake View Park in Islamabad and end near the Murree bus stand. This means passengers will be able to enjoy a smooth and scenic journey through the hills without dealing with traffic or long drives. The train is designed with large glass windows, allowing travelers to enjoy beautiful views throughout the ride.

There will be four main stations along the route: Lake View Park, Chattar Park, Ghora Gali, and the final stop in Murree. These stations will make it easier for tourists and locals to get on and off the train, and they will help increase accessibility to important recreational spots.

This project is part of a broader plan to promote eco-friendly transportation and boost tourism in the region. It aims to give visitors a unique travel experience while reducing traffic congestion and protecting the natural environment.
