Sidhu has shared a teaser of the show on his social media.

Former cricketer and politician Navjot Singh Sidhu is set to return to The Kapil Sharma Show after a five-year break.

Sidhu, who had been a regular on the popular comedy talk show for several seasons, had stepped away from the show in 2019 due to personal and professional commitments.

Sidhu shared a teaser of the show on his social media platforms, where he can be seen making a comeback to the comedy show.

In the teaser, Archana is seen requesting Kapil to give her seat back. Interestingly, Sunil Grover also features in the promo, portraying Sidhu’s role and engaging in plenty of laughs.

The teaser also shows former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh joining the show with his wife Geeta Basra, adding more excitement to the show.

Fans expressed immense joy on Sidhu’s post, delighted by his return to the comedy show. In his absence, actress Archana Puran Singh had taken his seat and has remained a part of the show ever since. However, viewers have often wondered whether Sidhu would return.

It’s important to remember that in 2019, following a controversial statement by Sidhu on the Pulwama attack, tensions arose in India, leading to protests by Hindu extremists, who demanded his removal from the show. Under pressure, the show’s management had parted ways with Sidhu.
