Nestlé has announced a new investment of $60 million in Pakistan to further expand its business, showing strong confidence in the country and its long-term potential. This fresh investment adds to Nestlé’s existing presence and highlights its commitment to growing operations in Pakistan over the coming years.

The announcement was made during a meeting between Pakistan’s Finance Minister, Muhammad Aurangzeb, and Remy Ejel, Nestlé’s Executive Vice President and CEO for Asia, Oceania, and Africa. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, where both sides discussed investment opportunities, economic reforms, and future collaboration.

Nestlé plans to develop Pakistan as a regional manufacturing and export hub, with the aim of supplying products to 26 different countries. This strategy reflects confidence in Pakistan’s industrial capacity, skilled workforce, and improving business environment. The company also sees strong potential in Pakistan’s growing nutrition and food market.

Government officials have welcomed the investment, stating that it reflects trust in Pakistan’s ongoing economic reforms. The government continues to focus on stable policies, ease of doing business, investor facilitation, and sustainable economic growth to attract more foreign direct investment.
