ZTE has finally confirmed Nubia Pad 3D pricing. The Snapdragon 888-powered tablet features a 9,700 mAh battery, a 12.4-inch and 2.5K display and 8 GB of RAM. However, it can also create 3D content thanks to a special display layer and twin front-facing cameras.
ZTE has opened pre-orders for the Nubia Pad 3D after debuting the tablet earlier this month at MWC 2023 in Barcelona. To recap, the Nubia Pad 3D utilises the Snapdragon 888, which ZTE pairs with 8 GB of RAM. Despite claiming that the tablet would be available with up to 256 GB of storage, ZTE has only listed the 128 GB variant to date.
Additionally, the Nubia Pad 3D has a 9,700 mAh battery with 33 W wired charging support and a quad-speaker set-up. While those specifications place the Nubia Pad 3D among other high-end Android tablets, ZTE markets the device on the basis of its ability to recreate 3D effects without needing accompanying glasses. According to ZTE, the 12.4-inch, IPS and 2.5K display contains a Diffractive Lightfield Backlighting (DLB layer) and two front-facing cameras that can convert 2D content to 3D in real-time.
ZTE has priced the Nubia Pad 3D at £1,149 in the UK and €1,299 in the Eurozone, making it as expensive as the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra and £100 shy of the latest iPad Pro 12.9. However, ZTE is offering a £100/€100 discount with orders until April 11 with the code ‘ZTE3D100’. Incidentally, April 11 is also the date when pre-orders will start shipping.
