OZ Developers has won praise across Pakistan after announcing a one-month salary bonus for its employees following the successful acquisition of the eighth Pakistan Super League franchise, Sialkot.
The company, led by businessman Hamza Majeed, shared the news as a gesture of appreciation and celebration, turning a major business win into a moment of collective joy for its workforce.
The bonus announcement was made through an official video released by the company’s human resources team and shared internally with staff. Employees welcomed the decision, calling it a rare and thoughtful move that recognized their contribution to the company’s growth and success.
OZ Developers secured the Sialkot franchise with a record bid of Rs. 1.85 billion, outbidding several competitors in a highly competitive process. This came shortly after FKS Group acquired the seventh PSL team, Hyderabad, for Rs. 1.75 billion. Together, these deals mark a major expansion phase for the Pakistan Super League.
With the addition of two new teams, the PSL will now feature eight franchises in its 11th edition. The upcoming season is scheduled to run from March 26 to May 3, 2026, and is expected to bring more matches, stronger regional representation, and greater excitement for cricket fans across the country.
Industry observers say the employee bonus reflects positive leadership and a people-first approach. By sharing success with its team, OZ Group has set an example of corporate culture that values employees alongside business achievements.
As PSL continues to grow, moves like these are helping build excitement not just on the field, but off it as well.
