Pakistan’s national baseball teams have made good progress in the latest world rankings released by the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC).
According to the new rankings, the men’s team has moved up three places to reach 35th position in the world. The women’s team has also shown strong improvement, jumping from 17th to 14th place.
In Asia, Pakistan’s women’s team now stands at number 7, while the men’s team is at number 8. This progress is impressive, especially since both teams missed big events like the Asian Games this year but still managed to move up in the global standings.
Fakhar Ali Shah, Secretary of the Pakistan Baseball Federation, appreciated the teams’ efforts and said the rise in rankings is the result of better training and coaching programs. He added that international exposure and modern coaching methods have helped Pakistani players improve their skills and compete at a higher level.
