Pakistan Drops to Last in World Test Championship After Back-to-Back Losses

The Pakistan cricket team has dropped to the last spot in the World Test Championship standings. This fall comes after a series of losses and underperformance, even on their home ground. The team is now ranked lower than Bangladesh and the West Indies, who are ahead of them.

Pakistan’s recent 120-run defeat to the West Indies further contributed to their slide down the standings. This loss marked another setback in a series of disappointing results. Out of the 14 matches played so far, Pakistan has managed to win only 5. The team has also faced point deductions due to slow over rates, which have only added to their struggles.

Currently, South Africa is leading the standings, sitting comfortably at the top. In contrast, Pakistan is at the bottom with a percentage of 27.98%. This situation highlights the challenges the team is facing as they continue to struggle in the competition.

The ongoing poor performance on both home and away grounds has left Pakistan with a lot of work to do in order to improve their standing in the World Test Championship. Fans and critics alike will be hoping for a turnaround in the team’s form in the upcoming matches to avoid staying at the bottom of the table.
