Pakistan govt slashes diesel price by Rs14 per litre, keeps petrol unchanged

The federal government on Monday slashed high speed diesel (HSD) price by Rs14 per litre to Rs265.65 for the next fortnight.

As per the notification issued by the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division), the price of petrol remains unchanged at Rs263.45.

The federal government has revised the prices of petroleum products for the next fortnight, effective from December 16, based on the recommendation of the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), read the notification.

During the last fortnightly review, the government reduced the petrol price by Rs2 per litre, and high speed diesel by Rs4.79 per litre.
