The Pakistan Hotels Association (PHA) successfully held its 61st Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at the Karachi Marriott Hotel. The meeting was attended by a large number of members, office bearers, and executive committee representatives, both in person and via Zoom.
The session was chaired by Mr. Shakir Abu Bakar Bhura, Chairman PHA, along with Barrister Mansoor Ali Shah, Vice Chairman (South), and Mr. Raza Abbas, Executive Committee Member.
The agenda included confirmation of the previous AGM minutes, presentation of the Chairman’s Report for the year 2024–25, approval of the audited accounts, appointment of auditors for the year 2026, and consideration of amendments to the Association’s Memorandum and Articles of Association in compliance with recent regulatory requirements.
