Pakistan Railways is poised to revolutionize its services by introducing free Wi-Fi on 40 trains in the near future. This significant development was announced by Railway Minister Muhammad Hamid Abbasi during a press conference held in Multan.

In line with the Prime Minister’s directives, Pakistan Railways is committed to enhancing both passenger and freight services. A key aspect of this initiative includes the ambitious plan to transition 155 railway stations to solar power within a span of two months.

This move not only aims at improving the overall travel experience for passengers but also underscores the government’s commitment to leveraging renewable energy sources. By adopting solar power, Pakistan Railways is set to reduce its carbon footprint and contribute to a more sustainable environment.

The introduction of free Wi-Fi on trains is expected to provide passengers with a more comfortable and connected journey. This service will enable commuters to stay productive, entertained, and connected with family and friends while traveling.

The Railway Minister’s announcement highlights the government’s focus on modernizing railway infrastructure and services. With these initiatives, Pakistan Railways aims to provide a more efficient, comfortable, and environmentally friendly travel experience for its passengers.
