Pakistan Railways has announced a fare reduction for all train categories, just weeks after previously increasing ticket prices. Starting from August 3, the new fare structure aims to make train travel more affordable and accessible for everyone.

The fare reduction includes a discount of Rs100 to Rs150 on AC class tickets and Rs50 on economy class tickets. This initiative is designed to ease the financial burden on travelers and encourage more people to use train services as a cost-effective mode of transportation.

The decision to lower fares reflects Pakistan Railways’ commitment to enhancing public accessibility and providing budget-friendly travel options for passengers throughout the country.

By making train travel more economical, the railway service hopes to attract a larger number of passengers and promote the use of public transportation, which is a vital part of the nation’s infrastructure.

This fare adjustment is also expected to benefit daily commuters and long-distance travelers, making train journeys a more attractive choice for various segments of the population.
