Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has conveyed heartfelt support and sympathy to the people of Turkey as the country battles destructive wildfires.

In a message of solidarity, the Prime Minister said that Pakistan stands firmly with its Turkish brothers and sisters during this difficult time. He also offered prayers for a quick end to the fires and hoped that damage to life and property would remain minimal.

The wildfires, which have affected several regions of Turkey, prompted widespread concern both locally and internationally. In response, Shehbaz Sharif assured that the government and people of Pakistan are watching the situation closely and share the pain of the Turkish nation.

He emphasized the strong bond between Pakistan and Turkey, noting that the two nations have always supported each other in times of crisis. “Just as Turkey has always stood by Pakistan, we will continue to stand with them in every challenge,” he said.

Shehbaz also extended his prayers for the safety of the Turkish people and for the success of rescue and firefighting efforts currently underway across the affected areas.

Officials from both countries are expected to remain in contact as the situation develops. Pakistan’s gesture of solidarity reflects the deep-rooted friendship between the two countries and highlights the importance of international cooperation in times of natural disasters.

As rescue teams in Turkey continue their efforts to bring the fires under control, Pakistan’s government and people remain united in support and hope for a speedy recovery.
