Pakistan has reached an important moment in technology as engineers at NED University have successfully tested the country’s first AI-powered driverless car. This achievement was made possible by the National Centre for Artificial Intelligence, where experts built an electric vehicle that can move on its own using smart sensors, detailed maps, and computer vision.

During testing, the car drove around the university campus at a speed of 15 to 20 km/h. It was able to identify road lanes, stop at traffic signals, and avoid obstacles on the way. According to the engineers, the system is being developed to work on real Pakistani roads, which often have potholes, bumps, and uneven surfaces. They believe that with more improvements, this technology could play an important role in the future of transportation in the country.

This information is based on available reports, and the video used to show the car is AI-generated for reference purposes only.
