Even with ongoing diplomatic tensions, Pakistan welcomed more than 200 Sikh pilgrims through the Kartarpur Corridor. These pilgrims came to visit the Gurdwara Darbar Sahib, a holy place in Narowal, Pakistan. The visit shows Pakistan’s strong commitment to promoting religious tolerance and maintaining people-to-people connections.

The Kartarpur Corridor allows Sikh pilgrims from India to visit the shrine without a visa. It is one of the most peaceful and cooperative efforts between the two neighboring countries. Despite political issues, this religious link continues to bring people together.

During their visit, many pilgrims shared their happiness and thanked the Pakistani authorities for the warm welcome and smooth arrangements. They appreciated the chance to perform their religious duties in a calm and respectful environment. For them, the visit was not just a religious journey but also an emotional and spiritual experience.

Pakistan’s gesture reflects its belief in peaceful coexistence and respect for all religions. The country has kept the corridor open and running to ensure that Sikh communities, especially from India, can visit one of their most sacred sites. This effort supports interfaith harmony and continues to be a symbol of peace in the region.

Even though relations between India and Pakistan remain tense, such efforts help maintain a small bridge of understanding and goodwill. The hope is that cultural and religious ties can help ease tensions over time and bring more peaceful exchanges in the future.
