Pakistani pilgrims are expected to spend around Rs9.94 billion on sacrificial animals during Hajj 2025, according to the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA).

Each pilgrim will pay Rs55,500 for the sacrifice as part of the Hajj rituals. So far, more than 35,000 pilgrims under the government Hajj scheme have already contributed Rs1.94 billion for this purpose.

This year, a total of 179,210 Pakistanis are expected to perform Hajj. Out of these, 89,605 will travel under the government scheme, while the rest will go through private arrangements.

These figures highlight the well-organized efforts to manage the pilgrimage and the devotion of Pakistani Muslims to this sacred religious duty.

The sacrificial ritual is an important part of Hajj, symbolizing faith and obedience to Allah. The collective contribution of such a large number of pilgrims also showcases the significance of unity and dedication during this spiritual journey.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has ensured smooth arrangements for both government and private Hajj travelers, making the pilgrimage more manageable for everyone involved.

As preparations for Hajj 2025 continue, the ministry remains focused on providing support and guidance to pilgrims, ensuring their journey is as smooth and meaningful as possible. This significant investment in the sacrificial ritual reflects the deep religious commitment of the Pakistani pilgrims performing Hajj this year.
