A recent report by the World of Statistics has revealed that 89% of Pakistanis are ready to defend their country if needed. This puts Pakistan among the top nations in the world when it comes to patriotism, sharing the same percentage with Vietnam.

The survey highlights that Pakistanis have a strong emotional bond with their homeland. It shows how deeply they value their country and how willing they are to step forward in times of need. Such commitment is not just about protecting borders but also about safeguarding national pride, culture, and unity.

When compared to neighboring countries, the numbers are striking. For example, Bangladesh recorded 86%, Afghanistan 76%, and India 75%. These figures indicate that while patriotism exists in the region, Pakistanis stand out with one of the strongest levels of commitment.

This overwhelming percentage also reflects the resilience of Pakistan’s people. Despite challenges such as economic pressures, political issues, and security threats, citizens continue to show faith in their homeland. Their readiness to defend the country symbolizes both love and responsibility toward their nation.

For many, this sense of duty goes beyond military defense. It includes supporting the country in difficult times, working for progress, and staying united as a nation.

The findings are a reminder of how patriotism plays an important role in shaping national identity and collective strength.

In short, the survey proves that Pakistanis are not only proud of their country but also willing to sacrifice for it—making patriotism a defining trait of the nation.
