After four days of disruptions, authorities have reopened major motorways and highways in Punjab, providing much-needed relief to travelers.

The Lahore-Islamabad Motorway (M2), Lahore-Sialkot Motorway (M11), Motorway M-4 (Pindi Bhattian to Abdul Hakeem), Motorway M-14 (Hakla to Dera Ismail Khan), and M-3 are now fully open for traffic. This was confirmed by a Motorway Police spokesperson.

The reopening has led to a significant increase in traffic, with many goods trucks that had been stranded during the closures now resuming their journeys to various destinations.

Additionally, the Eastern Bypass and Lahore Ring Road have also been reopened, ensuring smooth traffic flow in and around Lahore. The city’s traffic police have reported that entry and exit points, such as Thokar Niaz Baig and Shahdara, are now functioning without any interruptions.

This reopening has brought much-needed relief to commuters, businesses, and transport companies that had been impacted by the road closures. The authorities are closely monitoring the situation to ensure continued smooth traffic flow across the region.
