Federal Minister for Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives, Ahsan Iqbal, recently shared exciting news about the future of Gwadar. He announced that Gwadar is on its way to becoming a world-class port city, full of growth and development opportunities. This transformation is largely thanks to the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), which has been a major driver of progress in the region.

Ahsan Iqbal praised the advancements made through CPEC, highlighting Gwadar’s strategic importance. According to him, CPEC is key to turning Gwadar into a major port city that will boost economic development not just in the area, but throughout Pakistan.

China has played a significant role in these efforts, investing heavily in various parts of Pakistan, including Gwadar. These investments include the construction of modern port facilities and initiatives to promote socioeconomic growth. One of the standout projects in Gwadar is a state-of-the-art hospital, offering medical services on par with those found in major cities like Karachi and Lahore.

Minister Iqbal pointed out that Gwadar’s development under CPEC is a prime example of how international cooperation can lead to substantial local benefits.

The new infrastructure and facilities being developed are expected to create many job opportunities, stimulate the local economy, and improve the overall quality of life for Gwadar’s residents.

In his statement, Ahsan Iqbal expressed his optimism about Gwadar’s future. He emphasized that with continued support and ongoing development, Gwadar will evolve into a major hub for trade and industry. This transformation is set to attract global investments, making Gwadar a center of progress and development.

He explained that the growth of Gwadar will have a positive impact on the entire region. The new infrastructure, such as advanced port facilities and the cutting-edge hospital, will provide residents with improved services and opportunities. This will not only boost the local economy but also make Gwadar a more attractive place to live and work.

The Minister’s vision for Gwadar includes turning it into a bustling port city that can compete on the global stage.

He believes that the investments and developments being made now will pave the way for a bright future. Gwadar’s transformation is anticipated to serve as a model of successful international cooperation and regional development.
