Nida Dar, the captain of the Pakistan women’s cricket team, has reached a significant milestone by becoming the highest wicket-taker in the history of Women’s T20 International cricket. She achieved this remarkable feat by taking her 137th wicket during the second match against England in Northampton.

Dar’s exceptional performance surpassed the previous record held by Australia’s Megan Schutt, who had taken 136 wickets. Dar reached this historic milestone in her 141st T20I innings, where she secured two additional wickets, further establishing her as the leading wicket-taking bowler in women’s T20 international cricket.

Her accomplishment is not only a personal triumph but also a proud moment for Pakistan cricket. Nida Dar’s consistent performance and dedication have set a new benchmark in women’s T20 cricket. Nida Dar (137 wickets) has outperformed several prominent cricketers, including Megan Schutt (136 wickets) of Australia, Ellyse Perry (126 wickets) of Australia, Anisa Mohammed (125 wickets) of West Indies, and Shabnim Ismail (123 wickets) of South Africa. Her achievement as the highest wicket-taker in women’s T20 International cricket highlights her exceptional abilities and solidifies her legacy in the game.
