Supernet Limited, a technology-focused enterprise in Pakistan, has moved to expand internationally as its UAE-based subsidiary, Phoenix Global FZE, inked an agreement with Athena Telecommunications Equipment Trading Co. L.L.C. to pursue maritime connectivity projects in regional and global markets.

The listed company shared the development in its notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Wednesday.

“In line with the company’s objective to increase its footprints beyond Pakistan, the company is pleased to report that its wholly-owned UAE-based subsidiary, Phoenix Global FZE (PGF), has entered into a joint collaboration agreement with Athena Telecommunications Equipment Trading Co. L.L.C., UAE (Athena Telecom), effective 09 December 2025,” read the notice.

Under this agreement, PGF and Athena Telecom will collaborate to promote and deliver maritime connectivity, safety, security, earth observation, IoT, and related digital infrastructure solutions in regional and international markets.

“Additionally, the collaboration includes co-branded offerings, joint sales and marketing activities, and project-based commercial and revenue-sharing arrangements. The agreement remains effective for a term of three years, with an option to renew upon mutual consent,” said the company.

The tech company was of the view that the collaboration enables Supernet Limited—through Phoenix Global FZE—to enter the large and growing global maritime connectivity markets, and expand regional and international revenue streams by leveraging Athena Telecom’s strong technical capabilities and Supernet’s commercial footprint.

“While the financial impact of this agreement cannot be assessed at this stage and will be contingent upon project-specific engagements; however, the company anticipates positive long-term commercial benefits from this collaboration,” it added.

Supernet is the first technology company to be listed on the GEM Board of the PSX.

Founded in 1995, it is one of the country’s leading telecommunications service providers and systems integrators.
