The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced a cash reward of Rs. 5 million for each member of the Pakistan Under-19 cricket team following their historic Asia Cup 2025 victory over India. The announcement celebrates the team’s outstanding performance, skill, and determination throughout the tournament.

PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi personally praised the young cricketers for their consistency, teamwork, and dominance in matches leading up to the final. He said the players showed maturity, confidence, and resilience under pressure, making the nation proud. According to Naqvi, the reward is not just a financial incentive but a recognition of the dedication and talent that helped Pakistan claim the prestigious trophy.

The U19 squad impressed fans with remarkable performances, especially in the final against India, where they executed their plans perfectly and maintained composure in high-pressure situations. Analysts have highlighted the team’s strong bowling attack and strategic batting as key factors behind the decisive victory.

In addition to the current squad, PCB also suggested giving special recognition to Saifi Bhai for his continued success against India in U19 tournaments, including 2006, 2017, and now 2025. This acknowledgment reflects the importance of sustained excellence and leadership in youth cricket.

The cash reward and recognition by PCB have been welcomed by fans across social media, who praised the government and cricket board for supporting young talent. Cricket experts say such encouragement boosts player confidence and motivates them to aim higher as they progress toward senior-level cricket.

Pakistan’s U19 victory and the accompanying rewards highlight the country’s growing cricket talent, promising a bright future for the national team in international competitions.
