PIA will begin direct weekly flights from Lahore to Paris on June 18, according to ARY News. This new route is being introduced to make travel easier for passengers and to help the country earn more foreign exchange.

Currently, PIA already operates two direct flights every week from Islamabad to Paris. With the addition of the Lahore-Paris route, travelers will have more options and convenience when flying to France.

Parliamentary Secretary Zeb Jaffar shared that PIA has been performing well and has been profitable since March 2024. The airline has also resumed flights to European Union destinations, including Paris, after a break in services.

PIA is also in discussions with the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), as well as UK authorities and Turkish Airlines. These talks are expected to help PIA expand its flight network across more countries in Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa.

The new Lahore-Paris route is part of PIA’s ongoing efforts to grow and improve its international operations, offering better service to passengers and contributing to the national economy through increased international travel and foreign revenue.
