Please Ride Safely and Wear a Helmet, if Not for Yourself, Do It for Your Mom and Dad: Shaniera Akram Calls Out Hania Amir for Reckless Motorcycle Riding

A recent video of actress Hania Aamir riding on a moving motorbike without proper safety measures has sparked debate on social media. In the clip, Hania is seen standing on the bike while it is in motion, which many viewers criticized as risky and irresponsible.

Shaniera Akram, social activist and wife of cricket legend Wasim Akram, expressed her concern over the incident. She said that public figures have a powerful influence on their fans, especially the younger generation, and should set positive examples.

According to Shaniera, actions like these can encourage people to copy such stunts, which can lead to serious accidents.

She described the act as “illegal and dangerous” and urged celebrities to promote safe riding habits, such as always wearing a helmet and following traffic rules. Shaniera clarified that her comments were not meant as a personal attack on Hania, but as a reminder of the responsibility that comes with fame.

In her message, she appealed to everyone—whether celebrities or ordinary citizens—to ride carefully, keep safety in mind, and think about their families. “Please ride safely and wear a helmet—for yourself and your loved ones,” she said, stressing that no thrill or stunt is worth risking a life.

The incident has reignited discussions on road safety in Pakistan, where traffic accidents remain a major concern. Many social media users have supported Shaniera’s stance, calling for stricter enforcement of traffic laws and greater public awareness to ensure safer roads for all.
