PMDC Allows 100 Gaza’s Medical Students to Complete Education in Pakistan

The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has announced that almost 100 medical students from Gaza will be given the opportunity to finish their education in Pakistan. This decision was made in light of the ongoing conflict in Gaza, which has now entered its tenth month, severely disrupting the lives and education of many students there.

The PMDC, which is the regulatory body for medical and dental professions in Pakistan, took this step after receiving a request from Pakistan’s High Commissioner in London. The council carefully considered the situation and decided to extend this educational lifeline to the affected students.

Allowing these students to continue their education in Pakistan not only helps them but also underscores Pakistan’s commitment to supporting those affected by the conflict.

The PMDC’s decision is a significant gesture of solidarity and support, aiming to ensure that these students do not lose their chance to become qualified medical professionals due to the turmoil in their homeland.

This initiative will provide the students with a stable environment to complete their studies and achieve their dreams of becoming doctors and dentists. By integrating them into Pakistan’s medical education system, the PMDC is also fostering international cooperation and goodwill.
