President and Prime Minister of Pakistan Pay Tribute to Veterans and Martyrs on Defence Day

On Defence Day, President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif paid tribute to Pakistan’s martyrs and heroes who have sacrificed for the country. President Zardari acknowledged the readiness and dedication of the armed forces, expressing gratitude for their efforts to safeguard the nation.

He also stressed the importance of peace and the need to resolve conflicts through dialogue. His message was one of hope, aiming for a future where Pakistan’s security could coexist with regional peace.Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reflected on the bravery shown during the 1965 war.

He praised the armed forces for their vital role in defending Pakistan and for always standing strong in the face of danger. PM Shehbaz spoke about the unwavering spirit and determination of the nation, which has helped Pakistan overcome various challenges over the years.

Both leaders highlighted the need for national unity and urged all Pakistanis to remain committed to defending the country’s sovereignty. They emphasized that through solidarity and dedication, Pakistan can continue to prosper and remain secure against any threats.
