President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have shared their deep sadness over the passing of Pope Francis. They praised his important role in promoting peace, unity, and justice among people of all religions.

President Zardari said Pope Francis was a strong supporter of interfaith dialogue and always raised his voice for the rights of the poor and the vulnerable. He appreciated how the Pope worked for compassion, kindness, and understanding between different communities. Zardari added that Pope Francis’s message of unity and love will be remembered around the world.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also expressed his sorrow and sent his condolences to the Vatican and the Christian community. He said Pope Francis was a global figure who inspired people of all faiths through his calls for peace, respect, and love. The prime minister said the Pope’s efforts helped build better relationships between communities and created hope in many parts of the world.

Both leaders said that Pope Francis was a symbol of humanity and moral strength. They acknowledged his dedication to building a more caring and fair world, where people of different backgrounds could live together in harmony. They also highlighted the impact of his words and actions, which touched millions of lives.

The Pakistani leadership stands in solidarity with the global Christian community at this moment of loss and pays tribute to the legacy Pope Francis leaves behind—a legacy of peace, humility, and service to humanity.
