The Government of Punjab has introduced the Chief Minister’s “Magnificent Punjab” Tourism Internship Programme to provide hands-on experience in the tourism and cultural heritage sectors. This initiative aims to help young graduates build professional skills and explore career opportunities in these fields.

The program is managed by the Directorate General of Archaeology, Tourism Archaeology, and Museums Department. It offers 1,000 internships, each with a monthly stipend of PKR 60,000 for three months. Graduates with degrees in subjects like Archaeology, History, Anthropology, Architecture, and related fields are encouraged to apply.

The first group will consist of 250 interns, giving participants a chance to work on real projects and learn from experts in the industry. Applicants must be between 21 and 28 years old to qualify for the program. The deadline to submit applications is February 5, 2025.

This internship is a great opportunity for young people to gain valuable experience, contribute to preserving Punjab’s rich cultural heritage, and develop skills for their future careers. It also supports the government’s vision of promoting tourism and highlighting the province’s historical and cultural treasures.

Graduates interested in this program should act quickly to take advantage of this unique chance to combine learning and earning. This initiative not only provides financial support but also opens doors to a brighter professional future in the tourism and heritage sectors.
