According to an official notification, all provincial government offices, autonomous and semi-autonomous bodies, local councils, as well as government and semi-government educational institutions, will remain closed on Wednesday, February 4, 2026.

Authorities have instructed the relevant departments to make proper arrangements at mosques, shrines, and cemeteries, as large gatherings are expected. These measures aim to ensure the safety and smooth management of people attending religious events on this important night.

In addition, the Sindh government has also declared a holiday for educational institutions on the same day to mark Shab-e-Barat, allowing students and staff to observe the occasion.
