The Punjab Local Government Department has introduced a new mobile app to help people get important documents like birth, death, and marriage certificates without the need to visit government offices in person.

According to officials, this mobile app will make the whole process much easier and faster. Citizens can now apply for certificates, upload required information, and pay the fees online, all from the comfort of their homes. Once the application is checked and approved, the requested certificate will be delivered straight to the applicant’s doorstep.

This new system is expected to solve many problems that people face when applying for these documents the traditional way. It will help reduce long lines at government offices, cut down waiting times, and remove the stress of visiting offices again and again for follow-ups.

By putting these services online, the Local Government Department wants to make things simpler, quicker, and more transparent for the public. It is also part of a bigger plan by the Punjab government to provide digital services that make everyday tasks easier for citizens.

The mobile app will be officially launched in the next few days. Officials say they hope this step will encourage more people to use digital services and rely less on paperwork and in-person visits.

This new facility is seen as a positive move towards making government services more modern, efficient, and user-friendly for everyone in Punjab.
