A groundbreaking step toward advanced farming was taken as a Chinese company, AI Force Tech, and the Punjab Agriculture Department signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a robotic agricultural equipment manufacturing plant in Punjab. This initiative aims to revolutionize agriculture in the region by introducing cutting-edge technology to farming practices.

The signing ceremony was attended by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, who is currently on a week-long visit to China from December 8th to 15th. Her visit includes stops in major cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Guangzhou, where she will engage with various institutions, including hospitals and schools, to explore opportunities for collaboration and development.

This partnership highlights Punjab’s commitment to embracing innovation and modernizing its agricultural sector. By leveraging robotics and AI, the project seeks to enhance efficiency, productivity, and sustainability in farming, benefiting farmers and the economy alike.
