Punjab’s Information Minister, Azma Bukhari, recently announced that for the first time, roads in Punjab were being cleaned immediately after Eid al-Adha sacrifices. She praised the administration, waste management staff, and security agencies for their dedicated efforts.

Azma Bukhari explained that the waste management teams had strictly followed the Chief Minister’s instructions, ensuring that animal waste was removed promptly and roads were cleaned without delay. She emphasized that this was the first time such thorough cleaning had taken place in Punjab following the Eid al-Adha festivities.

The Information Minister highlighted that this achievement was a testament to the excellent administration led by Maryam Nawaz. She noted that the coordinated efforts of the various teams involved demonstrated the efficiency and commitment of the current leadership.

Azma Bukhari’s comments reflect a significant improvement in public services during a major festival, showcasing the government’s dedication to maintaining cleanliness and public health standards. This initiative not only helped keep the roads clean but also ensured a healthier environment for the residents of Punjab.
