Qatar, Emirates & Turkish Airlines Cancel Flights to Tehran
Share on FacebookShare on TwitterWhatsapp

Qatar Airways, Emirates, and Turkish Airlines have cancelled all flights to Tehran due to the worsening situation in Iran. The decision was made as safety concerns continue to grow amid ongoing unrest in the country.

Iran is currently facing widespread protests in several cities. These demonstrations have caused serious disruptions to daily life. In many areas, internet services have been shut down, making it difficult for people to communicate or access information.

Electricity outages have also been reported, along with problems affecting landline and mobile phone networks. As a result, both residents and businesses are struggling to stay connected.

Because of these conditions, international airlines are taking extra precautions. Passenger safety is their top priority, and operating flights in such an unstable environment carries significant risks.

Airports and air traffic operations can be affected when communication systems are unreliable or when security conditions are uncertain.

The airlines have stated that they are closely monitoring the situation as it develops. Their operations teams are in constant contact with aviation authorities and security agencies to assess risks. Flight schedules may continue to change depending on how the situation evolves on the ground.

Passengers who were planning to travel to or from Tehran are advised to stay in touch with their airlines for the latest updates.

Many airlines are offering flexible rebooking options or refunds for affected travelers. Travelers are also encouraged to check official airline websites and customer service channels before making any travel plans.

For now, flights to Tehran remain suspended until conditions improve and it is safe to resume operations. Airlines will only restart services once they are confident that passenger and crew safety can be fully ensured.
