Relief for Students! HEC Allows Punjab Students to Sit in Exams Despite Low Attendance

The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has announced an important decision that will benefit many students in Punjab. According to the new policy, students will be allowed to appear in their examinations even if their attendance is lower than the required limit. This move has brought relief to thousands of students who were worried about missing exams due to attendance issues.

The decision was taken to ensure that students’ academic progress is not affected by circumstances that may have prevented them from attending classes regularly. Many students face challenges such as health issues, personal problems, or other unavoidable situations, and this step is meant to support them during such times.

HEC has emphasized that while attendance remains important, the main goal is to provide students with a fair opportunity to continue their education without unnecessary hurdles. The policy aims to balance flexibility with academic standards, allowing students to move forward in their studies while universities continue to follow examination rules.

This announcement is expected to ease stress among students and help them focus on preparing for their exams instead of worrying about attendance requirements.
