Cristiano Ronaldo has made history once again, this time off the pitch. The Portuguese football legend has officially become the first footballer in the world to reach billionaire status, according to Bloomberg’s Billionaires Index, which estimates his net worth at an impressive $1.4 billion.

This massive milestone comes after his record-breaking $400 million contract extension with Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr. At 40 years old, Ronaldo continues to dominate not only football but also the business world.

Since his professional debut in 2002, he has earned over $550 million in salaries alone. His long-term partnership with Nike, worth around $18 million per year, and multiple endorsement deals have added another $175 million to his wealth.

Ronaldo’s move to Al-Nassr also made him the highest-paid footballer in history, with a salary package of $237 million annually, plus additional bonuses and commercial deals.

Beyond football, Ronaldo’s empire includes hotels, fitness centers, fragrances, and a global brand presence that continues to grow stronger with time.

With this milestone, Ronaldo not only cements his legacy as one of the greatest athletes ever but also as a global business icon redefining success in modern sports.
