Eid ul Adha 2025 brought a major boost to Pakistan’s economy, with an estimated Rs. 1.3 trillion worth of business activity generated across the country. People spent large amounts of money on animals, transportation, meat processing, food, and other related services.

During the religious festival, around 7.3 million animals were sacrificed nationwide. This shows the strong cultural and religious importance of Eid ul Adha in Pakistan. Every year, the tradition of Qurbani (animal sacrifice) creates huge economic activity, especially during the Eid season.

From small villages to big cities, the business activity was seen everywhere. Cattle markets were full of buyers and sellers. Transporters earned by moving animals from farms to cities.

Butchers and meat delivery services were in high demand. Food suppliers, vendors, and packaging companies also made good profits during this time.

Eid ul Adha also created temporary jobs for thousands of people. Many workers, especially from rural areas, found short-term employment in markets, transport, and meat distribution. This helped people earn extra income during the festive season.

Overall, Eid ul Adha 2025 not only held religious and cultural value but also gave a strong push to the local economy. It supported various industries and helped create income opportunities for people in both rural and urban areas.

This yearly festival continues to be one of the biggest economic events in Pakistan, connecting tradition with trade and faith with financial impact.
