Sabir Sami Steps Down as KFC Global CEO

Sabir Sami has stepped down as the Global CEO of KFC after a remarkable tenure marked by innovation and growth.

Since taking on the role in January 2022, he has transformed KFC with fresh strategies and operational improvements, strengthening the brand’s global reputation. Under his leadership, KFC saw significant growth and became one of the most trusted and loved fast-food brands worldwide.

With over a decade at Yum! Brands, Sabir played key roles across regions like Asia, the Middle East, and North America. His vision and expertise helped KFC stand out in competitive markets, ensuring its continued success.

A graduate of the University of Karachi with an MBA, Sabir’s career is rich with experience at leading global companies. Before joining Yum! Brands, he held leadership positions at Procter & Gamble, Coca-Cola, and Reckitt Benckiser, gaining deep expertise in strategy, brand management, and operational excellence.
