‘When you start understanding yourself, it means you can handle any relationship well,’ the actor explains her stance
Leading film and television actor Sanam Saeed has shared her thoughts on the advantages of marrying later in life, particularly at the age of 35.
In a recent interview, Saeed openly discussed her decision to marry at the age of 35. The Barzakh actor emphasized that a relationship can only thrive when an individual understands themselves first.
“When you start managing and understanding yourself, it means you can handle any relationship well,” she said explaining her stance.
Saeed highlighted that 35 is a significant age, making it an ideal time for marriage because individuals have already learned from various life experiences by then.
“Yes, 35 is considered an older age for marriage, but that doesn’t mean if someone has failed in their first marriage or hasn’t married by this age, they shouldn’t marry at all,” she added.
Saeed pointed out that societal perceptions often discourage marriage after 35, especially for women.
She cited the example of veteran actors Samina Ahmed and Manzar Sehbai, who married later in life and made a wise decision, proving that love can happen at any age.
Last March, Sanam Saeed and Mohib Mirza announced their marriage, marking the second marriage for both actors. Before Sanam, Mohib was married to actress Aamina Sheikh in 2005, and they share a daughter.
However, the couple divorced in 2019. On the other hand, Sanam married her friend Farhan Hassan in 2015, but her first marriage also ended in divorce.
