Saudi Arabia’s General Authority for the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has introduced nine important rules to guide female pilgrims during their visit. These measures are designed to create a respectful and peaceful experience for everyone in these sacred spaces.

The guidelines were shared on the Authority’s official account on X, formerly known as Twitter. Female pilgrims are urged to wear modest Islamic attire and cooperate with the staff managing the prayer areas. They are also reminded not to sit or sleep on the floors and to ensure proper alignment during prayers.

Maintaining cleanliness is a priority, with visitors advised to avoid bringing food or drinks into prayer spaces and to refrain from stepping on carpets while wearing shoes.

Keeping noise levels low is another key aspect of the guidelines to ensure a serene worship environment. Additionally, pilgrims are encouraged to secure their belongings and avoid leaving them unattended.

These rules reflect Saudi Arabia’s dedication to preserving the sanctity of the holy mosques while enhancing the experience for all worshippers. By adhering to these instructions, pilgrims can ensure their visit remains meaningful and respectful.
