Holy month of Rabi’ al-Awwal has officially started in Pakistan after the sighting of the new moon.

Muslims all across the country have received this news with happiness because this month carries deep importance in Islamic history and traditions. It is known as a time of love, devotion, and remembrance.

During Rabi’ al-Awwal, people prepare their homes, mosques, and streets with lights and decorations to show their joy and respect. Many communities will hold special gatherings where people pray together, recite naats in praise of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), and remember his life and teachings.

This month brings people closer to their faith and encourages them to spread kindness, unity, and spirituality. For Muslims, Rabi’ al-Awwal is not only a time of celebration but also an opportunity to strengthen their connection with Allah and to follow the noble example of the Prophet in their daily lives.
