Seatbelt and use of mobile phones violations to be detected via smart monitoring system in Ajman

The Ajman Police General Command has announced the activation of a smart monitoring system for violations pertaining to the use of mobile phones and seatbelts, which will become operational on 1 October 2024.
The police on Wednesday through the social media channels, said, “Activation of the smart monitoring system will be effective as of October 1, 2024, to detecting mobile phone and seatbelt violations.”
The police have indicated that this measure is intended to enhance road safety and reduce the occurrence of traffic accidents and injuries.
Additionally, the Ajman Police asked all road users to adhere to the relevant traffic rules and regulations for the safety of all.
